      2. Spray hydrogen peroxide on the affected area of the marble and then cover it with plastic. Leave it for overnight and then wipe the marble in the morning with a damp cloth. If you find the stains have not gone completely, you can recur the process tonight.

    • Etch Marks: Etches are very usual on marble. You can often experience them if you do not understand the properties of the marble. However, the good news is that you can quickly deal with them.

      Here are two ways to deal with stains and marks on your marble.

      1. Take dishwasher in a little quantity on a damp cloth and then gently rub it on the affected area. Now, leave it for an hour and then rinse it. The stains and marks will go. If you still notice the marks then repeat the process.

      2. Take baking soda in a little quantity, add it to two spoons water, and then apply the mixture to the affected area. Leave it for a couple of hours and then clean it with a damp cloth.

    • Chips and Scratches: You must protect the marble from chips and scratches because they snatch the beauty of your marble and make it dull. However, what if they get chips and scratches, don’t worry. There is a solution to every problem, and this one is not unlikely to fix.

      1. Wax can be an excellent way to correct the problem. This is easily available in the hardware stores. Once you buy and bring it to your home, rub it on the marble until the marble looks smooth.

      2. Marble chip repair kits are also easily available in the hardware stores. They provide you more durable solution compared to the wax. However, you need to be careful in its use. You should read the instructions given on the kit and ask the seller regarding its use as well. As the chances of mistakes in its use are quite high, it would be better to seek professional help unless you are confident you would do the job correctly.

    • Chips and Pits: Chips and pits are not very usual. However, when they occur, they give a reason to worry. However, they are not so much complicated that you can’t get rid of them.
